As a trainee, you don’t just sit on the sidelines. You get to make a big impact in the future of our global brands, supply chain — and the way we do business.  Our program is designed for Tech Universities Students and Fresh Graduates who want to work on ‘live’ roles, gain hands-on industry experience and work with PepsiCo experts. In addition, we’ll provide you with all the support needed to make the most of this experience and develop yourself.

You will leverage your academic understanding in a real-world, business-driven environment and will get the opportunity to develop your technical awareness by spending time in several PepsiCo Supply Chain functions – Production, Maintenance, Quality, Automation & Process Optimization - through a practical developmental journey, ultimately progressing their careers in an area of expertise that best suits their attributes and those of the business.

As an intern, you will be assigned firstly a 3-month project, and afterwards, based on your personal involvement and performance, you will have the possibility to extend the internship period to 1 year.

You will have the opportunity to discover project management, development of technical training materials, innovation projects, managing capital assets, data analysis and process improvement. You will gain overall beverage and snack processing and manufacturing knowledge while obtaining critical work experiences that drive results directly impacting key process indicators for the FMCG business.

You will collaborate with a designated buddy and will be guided by a professional mentor on the path to discovering the world of PepsiCo.

What we’re looking for:

• Student in the 3rd year, graduate or master student​ at Technical University.
• Strong work ethic: Positive attitude, motivated by engineering; dependable, ethical, responsible, and reliable.
• Logical, agile, and adaptable approach: Able to structure a plan and develop activities following a logical thought process, and to quickly “think on feet” when working through them.
• Problem-solving orientation: Identifies issues quickly, enjoys solving complex problems and applies appropriate solutions. Has a strong desire to push to ensure the true root cause of any problem is found and a solution identified which prevents further recurrence.
• Clear communicator: Use a variety of appropriate communication methods to give/receive information accurately, and in a timely and positive manner.
• Team player: Not only plays own part but able to work and communicate clearly and effectively within a team and interacts/ helps others when required. In doing so applies these skills in a respectful professional manner.
• Self-Motivation: A ‘self-starter’, with a thirst to learn and give their best, sets themselves challenging targets, can make their own decisions, demonstrating both tenacity and resilience.
• Good English knowledge.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications

Contract, location & working hours:

• Paid program and competitive compensation & benefits package.
• We will offer all the practical certification required by the University.
• The job takes place over a paid period of 3 months, with the possibility to extend the period for 1 year and take a undetermined role in our organization.
• The program is full-time, but we can be flexible, and the location is either Beverages Plant ( Dragomiresti Deal) or Snacks Plant (Popesti Leordeni) (we provide transportation from Bucharest to the plants).
