Job Description: SQL Server Database Administrator with 7 years of experience with expertise as per below responsibilities and requirements.

Required:
Database management including backups, recovery, and maintenance
Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
Independently analyse, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security and Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)
Hands On experience with clear concepts on T-SQL
Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.
Provide 24x7 on-call support for critical production systems.
High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server, Specially Always-On.
Windows Server Knowledge to troubleshoot Infra level issues, Disk IO etc.
Analyzes and generation of all tables and index statistics
Monitoring and resolving data lock issues
Check all statistics related to memory, locks, I/O, database response time, wait events, top sessions and background processes
On-Line Transaction Processing (OLTP) to capture, validate and store large amounts of transactions
Create indexes to achieve critical dataset response time for time sensitive reports.


Preferred:
Certifications like MCTS, MCITP, MCP etc.
Basic Windows Knowledge
Python, PowerShell or dot net scripting Knowledge for Automation.
