    A Snapshot of Your Day

    Responsible for processing project contract work you're doing by use of the document management tools, throughout the project lifecycle. Regular status reporting to Project Management and Document Control in the UK.

    How You'll Make an Impact
    • Reserving and downloading existing drawings from Client's systems (e.g. Livelink)
    • Creating placeholders in Aconex in response to Contract Drawing Lists received from Document Control.
    • Assign and manage document numbers through Alteryx
    • Receipt of Siemens Energy drawings via BIM 360 (in the future ACC) and external suppliers' drawings via email and conversion of these to pdf.
    • Uploading of the pdf version of drawings into Aconex in Workflows set up by Document Control.
    • Creating placeholders in Customers systems e.g. Viewpoint for SSEN and Aconex for MPNL.
    • Downloading Customer comments from Viewpoint and creating placeholders for comments sheets in Aconex.
    • Using Aconex for As-built drawing scans and uploading scans.
    • Downloading dwg files from BIM 360 for all as-built drawing scans and issue to Document Control.
    • Uploading of revised dwg files into BIM360.
    • Creating placeholders and loading dwg files from BIM360 and external suppliers into Aconex for final drawing issue.
    • Downloading closed Technical Questions from Client's systems e.g. Viewpoint and loading of these into Aconex.
    • Supports Project Document Controller when required on the project.
    What You Bring
    • Ideally, experience with database systems/documentation tools
    • Professional experience in the field of documentation/technical writing
    • Completed vocational training or a comparable degree with a specialization in administration or management
    • Teamwork as well as independent organization, independent and solution-oriented way of working
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, accuracy and commitment
    • Good written and spoken English
    • Familiar handling of MS Office - especially in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
