Engineering Supervisor - Software Integration and Test ( Chassis Solutions Division )

  Your main activities:
- Lead and coordinate the Software Integration Test Team
- Define strategies and plans for own Team, based on Group and Department strategy
- Plan, track and evaluate the development activities in own Team to meet the deadlines
- Ensure the required quality level over the integration testing process
- Facilitate the communication channel with external partners (SWPM, SWTM, Customer, other Teams)
- Keep contact with other Teams for knowledge sharing
- Act as technical coach for the Team Members - Increase the knowledge / skill set of the Team Members
- Evaluate the performance and potential for the Team Members
- Actively take part in staffing activities for own Team - Estimate Team's needs in terms of equipment, traveling, training


Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree (related to electrical or electronic engineering, embedded SW, controls, computer science, physics) or experience in software integration testing or software testing.
- At least 3 years of experience in software integration testing or software testing (preferably in automotive industry) or good knowledge in programming languages (particularly in C programming language)
- Analytical thinking, good communication skills and strong team player
- Self motivated and motivating others, people oriented
- Strong interpersonal, planning and organizational skills - Good communications skills in English (German is a plus)
- Experience with Vector Tool Suite (CANape, CANoe, vFlash)
- Experience with microcontrollers and on target debugging (Lauterbach Trace32, iSystem - winIdea)
- Experience with AUTOSAR Standard, Automotive SPICE, ISO26262, ISO29119
- Build process knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge in PC-based software development for identifying/ implementing automation solution (BATCH Scripting, Python, MS INI Files - Configuration Files) is a plus
- Good communication skills in English (German is a plus)
