    Content strategy approach
    Thus, our approach on content strategy is also based on these two concepts: aside from the solid tools you’ll use for data extraction and analysis, we never start crafting a strategy without thorough research on multiple levels, that expands over keywords and competitors and goes deeper, to the core of the client business goals and target audience needs. 


    Collaboration 
    You’ll be an essential part of the content department and will be coordinated by the Head of Content. You are also a key member of a permanent cross-functional team consisting of customer success and SEO specialists. You work closely with all the teams: strategy implementers, content managers, video SEO specialists. 
    But, most of all, you will be an autonomous person, in charge of your work and your growth, who knows when to take decisions and action and when to ask for support. 


    Key responsibilities

    • You establish strategic directions for our client campaigns while ensuring the client brand, focus and business goals, as well as content marketing personas are at the heart of decision-making.
    • You research the clients’ context and collect insights to ensure you thoroughly understand their point A and make informed choices in the strategies you build for them.
    • Use all that data, doubled by psychology to shape the clients’ narrative and set the basis for content experiences tailored to their needs.
    • Set short-term and long-term objectives and KPI’s, measure and monitor the campaigns, proactively propose optimisation solutions. 
    • Competitor analysis: conduct thorough analysis of competitors’ content strategies, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for differentiation.
    • Propose topics (standalone or grouped in content matrices as pillars and clusters); ensure they’re clear, compelling, in line with objectives and adhere to a consistent philosophy throughout the campaign.
    • Map the proposed content according to seasonality, funnel stage and buyer personas.
    • Outline the editorial calendar.
    • Provide a comprehensive guide and direction for the content writers.
    • Monitor, measure, adjust and proactively propose strategic directions shifts.
    • Perform content audits and track content health. Own the content performance process throughout the campaign.
    • Lead the brainstorming sessions across the team.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to set and deliver objectives within deadline.
    • Participate in pitches and client meetings whenever needed to coherently present and adjust your strategy alongside the client team members.
    • Stay updated with industry trends: continuously monitor industry trends and best practices in content marketing to ensure strategies remain relevant and effective.

    Professional skills and experience
    • Over 3 years of experience in content marketing, crafting content strategies with a strong SEO core. 
    • Ability to use and leverage different data extraction tools (such as Ahrefs or similar, specific keyword research tools and methodologies, GA/GSC,  etc). 
    • Strong understanding of strategy, SEO, keyword research, information architecture, and usability best practices.
    • Marketing related studies are a plus. You need the ability to outline a strategic direction and a strategic plan. 
    • Capacity to analyse the research results and extract actionable insights.
    • Ability to turn complex and/or large sets of data into compelling stories.
    • Understanding of the audience journey and the different stages they go through until they make the decision to become customers.
    • Vision and strategic approach: ability to combine a variety of data sources to paint the bigger picture.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills.
    • Copywriting / content writing skills – you will not write, but must understand the process, evaluate written pieces, propose improvements to maximise potential, formulate a topic based on a headterm. 
    • Presentation skills, both verbal and also written. 
    • Romanian and English knowledge is a must. We don’t expect you to be a native English speaker but we do expect that you have medium-advanced knowledge of English and be close to native in Romanian.

    Onboarding
    We believe that a proper onboarding process is key to the successful integration of our new colleague into both our culture and the job itself. So we have created a step by step onboarding:
    The first month will be about immersing yourself into our culture, getting to know your colleagues, our products, internal processes & tools, and our way of working. You’ll have a buddy assigned and you’ll start shadowing one of our current Content Strategists. By the end of your first month, you’ll already have a clear understanding of what sits in your responsibility.

    During the second month you’ll begin to immerse yourself into your job, performing the daily tasks, still under shadowing. 
    By the end of your third month, you’ll already be able to be autonomous in your role. Depending on the level of your seniority you will require more or less help & supervision.
