    A Snapshot of Your Day

    As an Operational Buyer you will be responsible to efficiently implement operational purchasing processes. You will purchase goods, materials, and services to ensure that the operational needs are met (considering price, quality, on-time delivery) as well as continuity of supply. Processes incoming customer requests (workflow transactions, purchase requisitions, email requests, etc.) ensuring agreed cycle time and quality standards while maintaining high customer/user satisfaction !


    How You'll Make an Impact
    • Processes purchase requests by creating and releasing purchase orders to suppliers
    • Purchase order management, including tracking/expediting to ensure a cost-efficient supply of materials in accordance with demand
    • Ensures items are delivered on time and expedited where necessary
    • Communicates with suppliers concerning order-related items, such as delivery dates, and escalates risks to relevant stakeholders
    • Monitors supplier delivery and quality performance. Escalates findings to relevant stakeholders and addresses performance issues with suppliers as necessary
    • Maintains and updates supplier master data to ensure that the database is accurate and up-to-date
    • Negotiates prices and payment terms (low-threshold transactions)
    • Demonstrates strong customer focus by handling requests in a timely manner with high quality standards
    • Communicates efficiently and professionally with internal and external stakeholders
    • Actively seeks process optimization and improvement opportunities in relevant areas (e.g. MoQ optimization, bundling of purchase orders, etc.)

    What You Bring
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, engineering, and/or operations, manufacturing functions
    • Experience with SAP and MS Office
    • Very good English and basic German skills
