IT Monitoring Services Specialist

We are seeking to fill in our role as IT Monitoring Services Specialist. You will be expected to either work in teams or independently, to manage multiple critical tasks simultaneously and to meet project delivery dates. You should be technically proficient and have experience with monitoring practices and tools.

Daily you do some of these:
• Deploy, configure, and maintain the monitoring tools.
• Work closely with the infrastructure and the application support teams, in order to define and implement the requirements of the monitoring tools
• Integrate the monitoring tools with the IT Service Management tool (ServiceNow)
• Generate reports and dashboards for internal customers .
• Integrate and consolidate the monitoring tools.
• Ensure that the alerts and reports are delivered correctly, and consistently
• Document the solutions
• Analyze historical data and metrics together with the application's owners
• Long story - short:
• You are expected to be experienced with IT infrastructure and application monitoring. Previous experience with a large environment in a high demand-based, service oriented environment is highly valued. Good organizational abilities, communications and interpersonal skills.

Not critical, but important:
• Technical field graduate (Computer Science / Information Technology / Information Systems)
• Previous experience in banking industry is a plus
• Good experience with one or more monitoring tools like Prometheus, SolarWinds, Zabbix, Nagios, DataDog, Dynatrace, etc.
• Good experience with a scripting language: Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.
• Understanding how to retrieve data from a database using SQL and non-SQL SELECT statement
• Experience in complex, large-scale IT system operation
• Knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, or applications
• Advanced Linux/Unix and Windows Server knowledge
• Experience with any software asset management tools like BMC, SNOW, ServiceNow, Flexera, etc.

• Programming experience in Visual Studio or Java is nice to have
• If CSDM is not just another abbreviation for you, is a plus
