    Overview:

    We are looking for an experienced Fraud Monitoring Lead to join the Global Security Operations.

    Role Summary

    • LSEG is seeking to recruit an experienced Fraud Monitoring SME to assist in establishing and leading a Fraud Monitoring Team within LSEGs Security Operations & aligned closely with the Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC).
    • The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of fraud detection principles, investigation, and resolution of fraud incidents.
    • The role will be key in the building and the management of a small team of fraud monitoring analysts. This team will be responsible for proactively seeking and responding to potential fraud incidents. Technology monitored will include payment systems and clearing platforms.
    • LSEG is a fast-moving and highly regulated multinational organisation. As such, this role requires an understanding of the unique challenges in preserving the organisation's integrity.
    • The role will require the Fraud Lead to work a standard 37 hour working week, within UK core hours, 08:30 - 16:30 (GMT).

    Key Responsibilities

    There are 2 phases to the engagement:

    • Establishing the fraud team.
      • Work with the Director of Security Operations and various collaborators to define the Fraud Monitoring Team Target Operating Model (TOM).
      • Hire, train and lead the Fraud Monitoring team members
      • Work with various collaborators and peers to map the Fraud Teams interfaces, processes and use cases.
      • Work with different partners to develop the teams tool integration and process implementation.
    • Managing the BAU state (post set up).
      • Provide a multidimensional, single point of reference for fraud incidents leveraging fraud intelligence and the extensive security operations resources to identify & treat potential fraud incidents.
      • Lead and mentor the small team of fraud analysts to manage the end-to-end handling of fraud incidents.

    Required Skills

    Essential

    Have two or more of the following

    • Be able to demonstrate strong team management & leadership skills.
    • Be able to demonstrate expertise in using tooling and processes to investigate fraud incidents and manage to conclusion.
    • Have a good understanding of payment and settling processes (SWIFT, Clearing Operations, Market Operations).

    Desirable

    • Have experience of consuming and utilising fraud intelligence.
    • Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of fraud law & regulation.
    • Have exposure and be able to show a clear understanding of log monitoring technology.
    • Have a good understanding of event management tools and processes.
    • Have developed and implemented Key Performance Indicators & reports for consumption across many areas to CISO level.
    • Have experience in service management.
