Job Requirements
Education: Technical university degree or a similar qualification; IT Certification is a plus; ITIL knowledge;

Mandatory need/desire professional experience:
For Backup Administrator:
Minimum 5 years in various IT infrastructure;
Through OS knowledge ( Linux, Unix, Windows );
Minimum 3 years’ hands on experience with EMC Networker;
Data Domain experience ( knowledge );

For Storage Administrator a minimum 2-3 years ‘hands on experience :
With various Storage technologies; with Brocade or CISCO FC networks;
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as Storage Administrator;
Minimum 3 years’ experience in enterprise datacenter environments;

Social Skills and competencies:
Team player, willing to learn and face new challenges;
Strong analytical skills;
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills;
Must possess strong interpersonal skills in order to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Foreign Languages: Proficient in Business English

We are looking for experienced IT professionals in IT support area for our location in Timisoara, Romania.
We, from Storage and Backup team, are offering high level support with high level specialists on high level scale environments on high level brands.

Main responsibilities as follows:

For Backup Administrator
Backup - EMC Networker & Avamar
Configure backup for new clients;
Create, manage and change backup schedules;
Run ad-hoc backups;
Support OS/DB-staff on backup software installation when requested;
Support OS/DB-staff on restore when requested;
Capacity and Performance management — operational;
Define and maintain procedures and work instructions;
Work planning, process coordination(tracking /tracing/crisis-mgt);
Backup infrastructure (tape library, VTL) upgrades: hardware, firmware or software;
Backup software upgrades to backup servers and data movers;
Prepare and support backup software upgrades to backup clients;

For Storage Administrator
Storage - NetApp and EMC
Support, train and advice the team for daily operations of storage systems and fc networks;
Plan, initiate and supervise execution of changes and the implementation and integration of new systems;
Plan, initiate and supervise execution of emergency maintenance of storage-based systems;
Monitor performance of storage environments and the systems that rely on them;
Lead cross platform root cause analyze on integrated systems (storage/network/server/db/…);
Conduct market research and author internal portfolio proposals and technical documents
