    Position Overview

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineering Team Lead to join our team responsible of building integrated solutions for Microsoft Office users.

    Our Microsoft Office add-in gives Refinitiv Workspace users an unmatched financial data and intuitive UIs to make smart decisions in daily business.

    As a Team Development Lead, you will play a critical role in guiding a team of talented software developers, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality product. Your extensive technical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills will be key in fostering collaboration and driving innovation within the team.

    Main responsibilities

    1. Team leadership:

    • Lead and manage a team of software developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to enhance their skills and performance
    • Set clear expectations, define goals, and regularly assess team members' progress, conducting performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and ensuring a strong sense of ownership and accountability within the team

    2. Product planning and execution:

    • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand product requirements, scope, and timelines
    • Develop detailed product plans, allocate tasks, and ensure the team adheres to product milestones and deadlines
    • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively address issues to ensure timely and successful product delivery

    3. Technical expertise:

    • TypeScript, Node.js, Angular experience to contribute to architectural decisions, and technical problem-solving
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and share your insights with the team to drive continuous improvement

    4. Process improvement:

    • Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency gains within the development workflow
    • Implement and refine development methodologies, coding standards, and best practices to ensure consistent and high-quality deliverables

    5. Collaboration and communication

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts, designers, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of product objectives
    • Effectively communicate product status, risks, and challenges to stakeholders and higher management

    Essential Skills and Experience Required

    • 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role, working with TypeScript, Node.js, Angular
    • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex software projects on time and within budget
    • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail
    • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
    • Experience in Agile or other iterative development methodologies is preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
