    Securities Clearing Technology (SCT) PMO - Lead

    Role Profile

    SCT PMO Lead role will support the SCT Delivery function. SCT PMO will support the Delivery Team in the management of the programme against >i10m annual budget across LTD and SA business lines. The role will support the SCT Change function and work with key internal stakeholders including Portfolio Office, Operations, Shared Services, Risk, Product, Finance, Legal and Compliance and track against key project pillars Cost, Quality and Time.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Planning (Programme and Sprint), management, coordination, change control and financial control of project delivery.
    • Tracking Project Forecasts and Actual Spend across Capex and Opex Budgets as per the LSEG Financial Cycle
    • Working with Delivery teams, Portfolio Office and Finance to resolve variances and agree mitigation plans.
    • Resource tracking and budgetary validation against the programme allocations
    • Coordinating the annual budget cycle across the SCT function coordinating with the Central Portfolio Team and other delivery teams including (but not limited to) Risk, Shared Services and Operations.
    • Produce program management periodic reporting to senior stakeholders working in tandem with the Project Delivery Team and Business Delivery
    • Tracking progress against plan, managing risk, issues and dependencies.
    • Facilitation, tracking and production of Steering Committee artefacts and board presentations.
    • Assist Business Delivery managers with the production of materials for external stakeholders
    • Assist Business Delivery managers in ensuring programme management best practices are adopted across the programme.
    • Production of standardized and consistent programme artefacts.
    • Ensure Governance is adhered to across the programme. Tracking and escalating where required.

    • Has a detailed understanding of projects cost forecasting and tracking
    • Clear and concise communication

    • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Project and PowerPoint

    Desirable

    • Has worked in a similar role in a Clearing House (Equities) or an investment bank and can demonstrate a working knowledge of the similar processes used there relating to projects, their finances, resource allocation and overall project control
    • Product knowledge covering risk characteristics and operational workflow of Equities, CFDs, Warrants etc.
    • Keen to understand technology and data flows.
    • Can demonstrate experience of problem solving in a similar working environment
    • Can influence co-workers to respond in a timely manner
    • Prince 2 Practitioner
    • Supplier Management (Onshore / Offshore)
    • Outsourcing and Infrastructure Delivery
    • Cultural Awareness - Offshore, Europe.
    • Knowledge and experience using Stage Gates within project delivery.
