What you bring to the team:
Experience: at least 3 years
Tech stack/ knowledge:
Mandatory:
JVM languages (Java 11/17, Kotlin, Scala), Spring and Spring Boot, Cassandra, Kafka
Knowledge on IT security topics
Nice to have:
Experience running Docker containers in Kubernetes / OpenShift
Experience with the Prometheus and Grafana alerting and monitoring solution
Experience with Elastic Search & Kibana
· Capable of delivering both working code and a suitable set of automated tests
Experience with CI & CD pipeline built on top of Azure DevOps
Foreign languages: English (advanced)

The Mission:
As part of the development towards a “Next Generation Digital Banking Platform”, ING is renewing the Data Management capabilities globally. The Tribe Data Management is building an integrated data management platform for Netherlands and Belgium organizations.
The main project is to be part of the team that is building a new generation of near real-time data management platform while integrating federated governance allowing the data owner to configure all aspects of governance (lineage, access, retention, data quality) in a self-service manner. The platform will ensure these governance settings are then applied wherever the data is used.
Your Day-to-Day:
Even if you’ll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our office’s garden, your day will be quite similar when comes to tasks. Here are your daily responsibilities:
Being part of an end-to-end development process. You design, develop, test and deploy new features
Support the applications in production environment that are under your team’s portfolio
Work in close cooperation with stakeholders, but also with other teams on common software components that aid the developed APIs
Create and keep up to date required documentation related to all systems/ solutions in your area of responsibility
Offer technical guidance and support for your less experienced colleagues with hands-on focus
We work in a hybrid mode and occasional travelling to Amsterdam will be required.
