    Key Responsibilities
    Provide 2nd Line oversight and challenge of technology risk for a business division or technology function
    Foster trusted business partnership providing thought leadership, actionable risk insight and intelligence to CIOs, COOs and CROs
    Use influence to develop strong risk culture and awareness and enhance 1LoD risk management capability and maturity
    Support development and embedding of risk and control frameworks including ERMF
    Provide oversight and challenge of Technology's policies and procedures, including service delivery, incident management, infrastructure and change delivery
    Foster best practice and continuous improvement behaviours and adherence to the Group Risk framework
    Develop and embed specialist technology risk frameworks (eg SONAR)
    Ensure timeliness and high quality reporting of technology risks to boards, committees, and Group Risk,
    Develop and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to provide a holistic view of technology risk
    Implement appropriate management information dashboards to provide clear visibility of risk to divisional and functional stakeholders
    Support and challenge 1LoD risk assessments including RCA, policy compliance, committee reporting and other ad hoc activities
    Lead a programme of regular deep dive reviews to develop deeper insight into areas of higher risk
    Provide guidance and challenge to 1st line of defence on risk and control management, technology strategy and delivery
    Active partcitipation in relevant committees, forums, programme boards and workshops
    Delivery of training and workshops to key stakeholders and employees

    Candidate Profile / Key Skills
    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Experience one or more of the following:

    - DLT/Blockchain and Digital Assets

    - Artificial Intelligence

    - Quantum Computing and Cryptography

    • A minimum of 10 years experience in senior technology, risk or programme management roles
    • Appropriate experience and qualifications related to technology governance and risk management e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO31000, COSO, IRM
    • A background in the financial services sector and have experience of managing 1LoD technology risks as well as 2LoD oversight of technology risk
    • A strong understanding of the core controls and metrics used to manage technology risks
    • Excellent communication skills and be keen to collaborate across the Group, with a global view on problem-solving
    • Extensive experience of partnering with senior stakeholders across the Three Lines of Defence
