    Hard skills:
    You have experience and knowledge on the following technologies:
    Linux:
    • Min. 2 years hands-on experience in managing Linux systems
    • Linux systems administration (deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, backup and recovery);
    • Linux services: web servers (ex: nginx / apache), DNS, Mail, IPTables, PHP, SQL

    Infrastructure:
    • Basic servers instalation and configuration

    Knowledge about: Monitoring and logging tools:
    • Nagios, Zabbix
    • ElasticSearch, Graphana, Prometeus, etc.

    Education
    • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in technology or related field;

    Would be a plus:

    • Experience in implementing and managing virtual machines using VmWare;
    • Experience with Cloud Solutions ( Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
    • Experience in an entreprenurial work environment.

    Responsibilities

    As a Linux Systems Engineer you have the following responsabilities that relate to the delivery of quality IT services on time.
    • Perform system administration activities, such as deployments, configuration, system monitoring, backup, recovery, and troubleshooting;
    • Perform proactive maintenance activities to prevent incidents;
    • Assist with Helpdesk functions as needed, such as responding to tickets, managing Linux servers;
    • Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot our internal and client’s technology assets.
