IT Oracle Applications Developer

This role is dedicated to those of you looking for developing your knowledge in Oracle EBS and PLS /SQL, Kofax, while enhancing your experience working with internal and external teams on global projects. The Oracle and Finance Applications Developer role is part of the IT Application Solutions Extended Team, attached to the SNC-Lavalin’s Shared Service Center based in Bucharest. 

While covering this position, you will be working closely with other colleagues across geographies to provide support for Finance end users located globally: solving troubleshooting problems, system issues, and responding to general inquiries related to Oracle R12 EBS ERP, Hyperion EPM, and BI Business Objects. You will also collaborate with the system providers on specific IT services.

Responsibilities

• Analysis, designing and building out new functionality for high data
• Build out new functionality and implement change requests
• Design and execute test cases
• Utilize standards, architecture, and processes to ensure that all code and development practices conform to company and industry best practices
• Peer code-reviews
• Ensure support for production systems

• Proficiency in English (French would be a plus)
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant specialization 
• Experience in working with Oracle e-Business Suite /Kofax /Hyperion/ SAP BO or another ERP / EPM/ BI
• PL/SQL, minimum 2 years of experience
• BI Publisher, Oracle Reports Builder
• Oracle Workflow Builder/ETL flow
• Oracle Application Framework (OAF): JDeveloper and Java
• Unix Shell Scripting/Linux
• SQL Loader
•  Experience in diagnostics of applications code and corrections
• Candidate based in Romania
• Proficiency in Romanian
