What will help you be successful:
• 3+ years in engineering roles managing automation test projects working with development teams;
• Deep knowledge of and a proven experience with Selenium, code management & versioning based on git, continuous integration tools like Jenkins or gitlab-ci, continuous delivery like Ansible or Argo
• Deep understanding of modern web application HTML 5 frameworks & JavaScript, backend REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Strong knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and processes including CI, CD, TDD and automation
• A depth and breadth understanding of the digital technology space –with the ability to stay current and up-to-date on trends and technologies
• Experience working with teams using DevOps and continuous delivery with focus on delivering rapid customer value
• Familiarity with information security vulnerabilities and risk management concepts awareness

Summary of the role:
We are looking for an experienced software engineer to join our team in order to start and collaborate in the effort of building automation testing framework for BCR Digital Labs. The ideal candidate will be someone with a tracked record of building test automation frameworks, coaching other QA engineers, working closely with development and DevOps teams.

How you will contribute:
• Design/architect test automation framework
• Develop reusable libraries, which improve the robustness, re-usability, and maintainability of other test scripts.
• Assist with test plan articulation, planning, and management of individual test environments.
• Implement QA process and Automated testing for all the work streams to improve the overall testing cycle.
• Lead the direction, technical roadmap, for the test automation framework.
• Build expertise and best practices within the labs and make sure that the expertise is shared by all QA.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software testing best practices by attending relevant conferences and reading widely.
• Ensure compliance with standards, regulatory and audit requirements where applicable.
