To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Industrial Engineer located in Flex Timisoara.

What a typical day looks like:

You will be responsible for layout concept for existing and new products, will coordinate layout implementation according to CAD (AutoCAD skills);
Cycle time audits and standard time calculation for new and existing products, maintain database of cycle time accurate;
Will provide process time estimation, Head Count, layout and capacity study to the quote team when IE department is involved in quotations;
Simulate process, materials and manufacturing workflow and gives input to process engineer by using REFA, MOST, WITNESS, FlexSim and or adequate tools;
Perform ergonomics evaluations for current and new layout and working stations;
Recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities, reorganizing workflow, relocation work stations and equipment;
Will calculate the capacity in the production lines (number of pieces per shift, necessary shifts numbers per week, number of equipment’s need), Line balancing evaluation for new and old products, Head Count calculation; Takt Time and Cycle time calculation.
Will coordinate engineering activities for implementation of planning tool at site level.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or relevant Engineering field;
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment;
Advanced English Skills;
Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office;
Good communication at all levels and ability to manage relations with other departments, operations and program management.
