Applies business requirements and knowledge of a full software design lifecycle to develop products that satisfy customer needs.
Responsibilities include maintaining and developing applications and infrastructure for the Analytics Technology Business within the Information Services Division. This position requires and rewards candidates with strong personal initiative, work ethic, and the ability to develop code for fixed income markets, where the developer will be working with other team members to find solutions to complex problems in a clean and efficient way.
Potential projects may include, but are not limited to:
? Developing and maintaining RESTful API services to support both external and internal clients.
? Maintaining, designing, and setting up data engineering infrastructure to support various applications.
? Maintaining and improving the existing compute infrastructure.
? Migrating applications to cloud seamlessly so that there is no service disruption.
? Working on products used by leading financial institutions world-wide.
? Strategic project involvement which will make a significant impact to the business bottom line.
? Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields with high academic standing.
? 2-5 years' work experience.
? At least 1-3 years Python hands-on experience.
? Strong programming skills in Python.
? Good foundation of data structures and algorithms
? Good knowledge of SQL , Databases
? Programming skills in Java / scripting languages is a plus.
? Good knowledge of Linux/Windows environments.
? Understanding of networking (TCP, RPC) and Linux system calls is a plus.
? Strong analytical background and quantitative skills.
? Past internship/experience in financial services industry is a plus.
? Experience or knowledge of Dash plotly is a plus
