    Job DescriptionRole summary

    Responsible for COO Technology Business Management managing departmental finances, resource and headcount management, employee engagement, talent management and communications.

    Own operational processes, coordinate COO Technology leadership team and manage functional strategic objectives.

    Design and drive standard frameworks for core Business Management activities for adoption across the Technology division within a matrixed structure.

    What you'll be doing:
    • Supports the Head of Technology Change Strategy and Technology COO to define and deliver the function's strategy
    • Business management for the COO Technology function focusing on people and culture, financial P&L management, COO Technology resource management, organisational strategy & structure and communications.
    • Organise operating rhythm for COO Technology factoring sequence of events, content creation and COO leadership team coordination
    • Manage and track COO Technology functional strategic objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs)
    • Design and lead management of cross-technology Business Management initiatives and projects within a matrix structure for consistent delivery across Technology functions
    • Partner with Business Management CoE to implement business management solutions centrally for adoption across the Technology division
    • Organisational change management delivery for COO Technology to transition to an organisation that meets the target operating model (TOM)
    • Deliver employee engagement initiatives through communications, recognition programmes, team building events and driving action plans in response to employee feedback surveys
    • Manage relationships with leadership across Technology, as well as with central Finance, HR, Procurement, Legal, Communications etc.
    • Meet group level mandates on time and expectation
    • Deliver BAU operational and ad-hoc reporting requirements
    You'll bring:
    • University / College degree in related technical / business areas or equivalent work experience
    • Typically requires 10+ years of industry experience
    • Requires proven budget management experience
    • Requires leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and the flexibility to influence people at a variety of levels
    • Requires demonstrated ability to conceptualise, launch and deliver projects on time and within budget
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Knowledge of business and technology trends
    • Strong influencing / negotiation skills
    • Strong interpersonal / relationship management skills
    • Process design experience preferred
    • Operating model design and implementation experience preferred
