Retail Training Lead - Hervis

Hervis Sports este unul dintre cei mai mari comercianti de articole si echipamente sportive din Europa, de origine austriaca, cu peste 170 de filiale in Austria, Cehia, Slovenia, Croatia, Ungaria, Romania si Germania.

We are looking for a Retail Training Lead to coordinate the training team with the aim of:

developping the sales skills and product knowledge of our sales people,
helping them provide excellent customer service,
represent our brand in the best possible way.
Retail Training Lead will report to HR Manager and will imply 30% coordination of the team and 70% delivery of traning programs. The key responsibilities include adapting materials for presentation and persuasion techniques to new hires, creating and implementing simulating sales scenarios and preparing/implementing training programs that cover knowledge gaps for Hervis sales people.

Note that this position requires visiting our regional retail stores to work closely with our salespeople on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

design orientation programs for new employees and coordinate their implementation by our sales trainers;
identify and assign mentors/coaches to new sales team members;
determine training needs both for sales individuals and teams,
propose customized programs based on the identified training needs;
evaluate existing training materials, determining what changes need to be made to keep these materials relevant and updated with all company policies;
coordinate trainers agenda regarding the delivery of training sessions for current sales people;
maintain updated records of training feedbacks and presence for each season, together with sales trainers;
develop trainers; skills and expertise in order to act as consultants to salespeople for challenges they have on the job (how to overcome customers objections, how to upsell products and services etc.);
conduct certain training sessions with them, using various training methods to engage them and develop, including hands-on and interactive activities;
learn about Hervis store operations in order to design relevant, effective training and orientation programs for employees;
collaborate with Regional Managers to get feedback on customer/staff complaints and training delivery in order to design more effective training materials.

Requirements and skills

Work experience as a Retail Trainer, Sales Trainer or similar role;
Experience in retail industry;
Availability to travel and visit our retail stores, as needed;
Ability to manage the full training cycle, including conducting in-person activities and using e-learning platforms;
Excellent presentation skills;
Ability to motivate employees to achieve sales quotas;
BSc degree in Education, Human Resources or relevant field;
Additional certification in training is a plus.
