Our Accounting department is seeking for an experienced candidate to join us as a Tax Specialist.
To be successful as a tax specialist, you should be up-to-date with the latest technologies which assist in accounting duties, have an understanding of big data systems, and good communication skills. Ultimately, a tax specialist should have strong analytical skills, pay attention to detail, and the ability to manage your time efficiently.

Requirements

-Bachelors in Commerce, Accounting, or MA in Taxation. Master's degree in the Accounting discipline.
-Proven work experience in the Accounting department as a Tax Specialist, or a similar position.
-An Accountant certification will be mandatory.
-Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
-Sound knowledge and understanding of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns.
-Proficient in Tax reporting software
-Good analytical and logical skills.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills.
-A sharp eye for details for accuracy.
-Ability to meet deadlines.
-Extraordinary mathematics and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to multitasks efficiently.

-Researching tax laws.
-Assisting in IRS and state audits.
-Gathering information and explaining options for best practice to clients.
-Preparing quarterly and annual tax compliance.
-Preparing federal and state income tax.
-Ensuring that tax returns are filed in accordance with tax authorities.
