    Role Description

    We are looking for a seasoned Technical Delivery Manager to plan, manage and report on several I&C deliveries and commitments across the Post Trade Business, including LCH Ltd, LCH SA and UnaVista. This role is bi-directional, managing both I&C strategic initiatives back into the Post Trade businesses and also managing I&C commitments as part of demand delivery originating from the Post Trade businesses.

    The role will liaise with all levels of IT management to deliver technical and procedural change.

    Develop integrated project plans; documents estimating assumptions, refines plans and manages performance against them. Other PM artifacts will need to be delivered such as RAID logs, resource plans and regular reports.

    The technical DM will set quality standards and oversee the execution and production of stakeholder reporting. They will also raise, and tracks issues and conflicts, removes barriers, resolves minor project issues and escalate when required.

    The Delivery Manager will lead multiple work streams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring high quality and cost-effective deliverables.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Work with stakeholders to identify and baseline infrastructure requirements of projects
    • Ensure successful infrastructure project deliveries to time and to budget
    • Manage projects as part of a Programme in terms of reporting and data aggregation
    • Work with stakeholders to deliver projects using formalised project processes and procedures
    • Oversee the creation of delivery costs and plans for infrastructure delivery
    • Work with other related projects to understand and manage project dependencies
    • Work with technical and non-technical resources to plan analysis work and highlight risks and issues
    • Ensure efficient production handover and operational acceptance of infrastructure projects
    • Ensure project reporting is maintained showing progress against outstanding milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies
    • Run regular meetings to ensure appropriate Governance of projects
    • Work with third party suppliers to enable the successful delivery of projects
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Ensure end results are of the highest calibre with a clearly articulated scope
    • Optimise and ensuring adherence to project management standards, policies and delivery framework

    Key skills/Core competences
    • Experience in a technical PM role within Financial Services
    • Ability to manage workload and priorities whilst maintaining focus and quality on the delivery
    • Working with project planning and management tools; MS Project/Clarity
    • Good overall understanding of infrastructure projects and underlying dependancies
    • Good experience of delivering Cloud based projects and data centra migrations
    • Excellent communication skills with all levels of staff across both technical and non-technical contexts, includin stakeholder managment skills
    • Exceptional attention to detail
    • Strong project and time-management skills
    • Organised and punctual, and able to prioritise according to business demand
    • Strong meeting-facilitation skills
    • Understands expectations that were set with client / stakeholder and recognises when issues/events may affect delivery.
    • Confident in brokering agreement between differing opinions
    • Excellent documentation skills; ability to create high quality steering committee materials
    • More than 8 years of project experience

    Preferred skills
    • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or a related subject) or have 5 years relevant experience in similar role and environment
    • Broad experience of delivering change programmes across a range of geographies in a complex matrix environment; relevant project management qualification
    • Have a strong technical background
    • Experience with automation software (e.g., Puppet, Ansible) preferably
    • Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, RHEV) preferably
    • Experience with monitoring systems preferably
    • Experience with scripting (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python) preferably
    • Networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP) preferably
    • Database knowledge (Oracle, PLSQL) preferably
    • Ability to manage diverse locations and employees from diverse cultures
    • Hold a recognised Project Management qualification
