Business School or Engineering school; MASTER in Purchasing (preferred)
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Fluent level of English; German is an advantage
International background is a must
Strong interpersonal skills (leadership, ability to convince)
Influencing and negotiation skills
Willingness to take initiative
Ability to exercise independent judgment
Comprehensive knowledge of commodities in area of specialization.

Supporting global supplier panel relationship
Managing specific supplier panel relationship (negotiation, specific agreement, local supplier quality , cost & time delivery performances)
Monitoring day to day suppliers performances and issues
Managing of initial issues before escalation to line manage
Respecting Alstom code of ethics and guidelines
Consolidating commodity needs and inputs
Actively participating in commodity strategy and panel elaboration
Providing imputes to build differentiation
Supporting the Commodity Manager in tender phase
Representing the commodities towards projects, platforms and solutions
Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving
Applying the Alstom Sourcing process, and provide return on experience
Coordinating the project with all Métiers
Preparation and launch of Request For Quotation with suppliers using the standard tool
Leading project negotiation
Monitoring sourcing project quality , cost & time delivery & legal project evolution (FAI, Business Award, Product development)
Ensuring work package sheet commitment respect
Preparing Business Award
