    Project description:

    Wipro is a strategic engineering partner for one of the world’s leading global independent suppliers to the automotive sector, to realize its vision of transforming the future of mobility in partnership with its customers. As part of this agreement, Wipro leverages its strong automotive engineering expertise to establish a software engineering factory and expedite launch of cutting-edge technologies on connectivity and sustainable mobility solutions.

    We work on multiple projects around: Electronics (including HMI, Telematics & Infotainment, Body Electronics, ADAS), Automotive Lighting and Powertrain. 

    Job responsibilities:

     

    Coordinate the safety activities for a project safety development

    Responsible for development of the Safety Plan for SW products

    Daily communication with internal & external stakeholders

    Responsible for creating HARA for the SW projects/components

    Monitor and control the safety activities according safety plan and/or DIA

    Assess the project as per ISO-26262

    List, report and monitor any safety deviation

    Monitor parties that deliver the work products on time

    Get metrics about the status of the safety activities

    Report periodically the status of activities

    Gather safety cases and safety release recommendation

    Impact analysis of processes open points

    Responsible the component safety release recommendation

    Monitor the safety activities based on safety plan and DIA

    Coordinate the audit and confirmation review activities

    Responsible for safety audit/assessment plan

    Responsible for analyze the processes open points and provide possible solutions

    Responsible for creating the relevant template & project artifacts

    Review the requirement for the correctness and completeness against input requirements and ISO26262

    Produce Functional Safety Release Recommendations and Safety Cases
     
     

    Skills required:

    University degree in engineering (Electrical engineering, Information Technology or appropriate graduation or technician)

    Expert knowledge of FuSa techniques & methodologies: ISO26262

    Extensive experience with ASIL relevant SW products: A/B/C/D

    Communication and moderation skills

    Knowledge of process models (e.g. Automotive SPICE®)

    Good knowledge of embedded software and system

    High sense of responsibility, can work independently

    Minimum 5+ years’ experience in automotive software projects acting as FuSa engineer

    Excellent knowledge of RFI/RFQ process

    Reliable and trustworthy

    Technical and commercial English fluently

    Ability to analyze, to communicate and to present

    Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

    Proactivity and good communication skills

    Excellent task and time management

    Attention to detail and “can do” attitude

    Flexibility

    Highly organized and multitasking

    Analytical & critical thinking
