    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform advanced software development and maintenance functions for the Yield Book analytics and FTSE Russell Fixed Income Indices;

    • Design and develop software solutions in C/C++/Java for data management and analytics; Solve challenged data production issues and implement fixes;

    • Integrate complex data models and provide technical support to analytics and index business;

    • Engaged in the communications with product management and data vendors on technical data requirements;

    • Conduct detailed data analysis using a wide variety of sources and tools to verify accuracy of fixed income data and update when necessary;

    • Research new global data requirements and maintain existing database of data sources;

    • Collaborate with index development team to streamline existing processes.

    Required Skills and Behaviours

    • Advanced programming skills in C/C++/Java;

    • Strong programming skills in Shell/Perl scripting languages;

    • Strong database and stored procedure skills. Proficiency with SQL Statement;

    • Working experience with UNIX/Linux environment;

    • Great verbal and written communication skills;

    • Highly motivated and responsive and able to work as a team member and independently.

    Preferred Skills

    • Knowledge/experience with fixed income and equities market data is strongly preferred;

    • Experience in Python programming language is a strong preferred;

    • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services is a plus;

    • Experience with reporting, data extraction, and data collection is a plus;

    • Knowledge/experience with ETL Tool (Talend) is plus.

    Qualifications

    Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Financial Engineering with at least 1-3 years of professional experience.
