Our colleagues in the Transportation team are looking for a new Transportation Team Lead for Import/Export.

As we’re putting our hearts and souls into the future of food we’ll be looking at you to oversee and manage the day to day transportation planning, execution and in full preparation of export documentation.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

- University Degree or equivalent, preferably in Management, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
- Language skills- English (Required); Second Language (Preferred)
- Proficient knowledge of a Transport Management System
- Proficient knowledge of Export & Import Documentation rules & regulations
- Understanding of transportation rules and regulations; standard processes and business policies
- Ability to develop and manage client and carrier relationships
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Skills to effectively communicate to all levels demonstrating expertise, professionalism and confidence
- Experience of working for a multinational organization and working with colleagues internationally
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and Microsoft Office

HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

In this role you will report to the Export Transport Manager and you will supervise our team of Export Transport Planners and Export Documentation Coordinators based in Bucharest GBS office.
You will coordinate with other functions within transportation such as Freight Audit & Costing and Transport Analytics and you will partner effectively with external customers and internal transportation retained organization, customer service representatives, supply planning organization, distribution organization with a focus on increased value and benefit realization.
You will provide ongoing visibility into transportation movements and performance. You will review and ensure all shipments have been successfully planned and executed and have all needed documents available on time and in full as per business needs, taken appropriate corrective actions as required.
You will periodically review of transportation network and demand requirements with the EU Freight Manager.
You will evaluate operational performance and will continuously seek out opportunities to improve current processes.
