Marketing Analyst - Global Freight Forwarding Product | USA

Description The trainee will join UPS's Global Freight Forwarding product marketing team and assist in both standard and project based activities. The analyst will help the marketing team analyze, track, and develop marketing initiatives that help grow the business and better serve existing customers. A successful candidate will utilize a natural curiosity to propel data analytics and be able to build impactful presentations that showcase important insights. Compensation will be $25 - $30 USD per hour pre-tax.

Qualifications :

You qualify for this 18 month internship if :

• You have a degree or professional certificate from a post-secondary academic institution ;
• You have at least one year of full-time work experience in a business administration  or marketing related field.

Working hours Monday to Friday, 09:00am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities

• Track and analyze key metrics using various data analytics tools (SQL, PowerBi and Excel)
• Leverage data analytics to understand customer and product trends
• Standard monthly reporting activities to track business progression and effectiveness
• Create, update, and present PowerPoint slides on business KPIs and special projects
• Ad hoc requests to identify opportunities for sales and marketing initiatives
• Competitive and market analysis to understand UPS's position in the industry
• Support marketing initiatives that keep customers informed on industry news
