For our customer, world leader in the market of adhesives, sealants and construction plasters, we are looking for a Quality Manager.
YOUR SKILLS
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering, Chemistry or within a relevant Science discipline
English
Knowledge of SAP
5+ years’ experience in manufacturing/chemical building industry or within the quality profession.
5+ years of Supervisor experience
Knowledge and experience with SQC, and SPC
Experience leading teams and working with customers
Excellent project management and organization skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Romanian & English
Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization locally
Experience with Adhesives preferable
Good communication& moderation skills, with ability to follow up on identified gaps
Personal computer proficient, particularly in Microsoft Office.
Able to demonstrate a thorough and comprehensive understanding of relevant standards.
Demonstrated ability to be part of a team
Ability to work in a chemical lab and manufacturing environment
Valid drivers license
YOUR ROLE
Lead and managing the local Quality-teams at three Romanian Plants
Maintenance and improve the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 450001) and coordination of internal/external audits.
Organization and planning of Quality Teamwork in compliance with Quality priorities
Ensure control plans are up to date and approved and quality planning documentation are in place.
Ensure for all materials/products control plans execution.
Verifies and validates testing results
Coordination of Customer and Supplier complaints in SAP
Lead investigations of customer complaints / plant quality topics and off spec batches. Moderate the Team approach for professional root cause analysis, implement defined corrective actions and develop project plans to drive change.
Lead Cross-functional Quality Improvement Teams/Projects for all three sites. Develop plans for continuous improvements for the plants in your responsibilities.
Escalate critical complaints/ topic /decisions to Sub-Regional Quality Manager.
Ensure and implement Henkel standards and best practices.
Utilize SQC, and SPC to conduct studies on product and process consistency and quality issues (Six Sigma methodology)
Support the site management team in the review of progress, identification of successful performance in the Quality projects & KPI’s, promoting initiatives for launch, development and continuity of Quality approach in the plants
Monthly reporting on all Quality aspects/achievement on defined KPI’s
Ensure that reporting requirements are communicated and understand
