University degree – bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant industry related experience.
Professional knowledge and experience
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or 5+ years of Entrepreneurship experience in the tech industry.
English C level – Proficient user (speaking & writing).
Experience in a development role (front-end developer, back-end developer or full-stack).
Excellent comprehension of how the front-end and the back-end interact in software architectures that separates these concerns.
Knowledge of what APIs are and how they are used in software development.
Understanding of relational and non-relational database structures.

Understanding of business process modeling using BPMN and UML notations.
Previous experience in delivering configurable platform-based enterprise solutions across various business domains.
Deep understanding of the Agile methodologies, with complex experience in applying them.

Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to analyze the customer’s problem or improvement opportunities.
Own the product roadmap and consistently ensure that it is aligned with the product’s vision, strategy and goals.
Have a clear vision of where the product is heading and where it needs to go.
Organize and moderate workshops or meetings to flush out information relevant to the product-development phase currently under work.
Delineate the scope for new features and compose backlog items – epics, stories, documentation) that serves as objectives for software development teams.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders during the customer problem definition and solution conceptualization phases of product development.
Compose and manage an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for development.
Develop sufficiently detailed specifications and hold repeated alignment meetings for increasing clarity for the development teams.
Help the development team understand the user’s problems, business needs and proposed solution.
Solve product related problems by making researched and informed business decisions.
Review and ensure that the UX / engineering teams deliver a solution which checks all the previously established business acceptance criteria.
Be accountable for the delivered product.
Measure and assess value of stories, epics and initiatives to ensure that work stays focused on the opportunities with the most impact on customers and users.
Act as a leader by driving new product initiatives from inception to completion.
Represent the Product team in front of stakeholders, clients or users.
Keep close contact with product management and senior management to ensure that new product features respect the company’s strategy and portfolio.
Follow Agile practices and dutifully utilize the company’s collaboration tools to ensure visibility across all the involved teams.
Research, study and analyze the market to generate informed recommendations of how to improve the product.
Keep an open stance towards competitors in the industry.
