Purchasing & Logistics Specialist
PURCHASING SPECIALIST Location: Bucharest THE COMPANY Our client is one of the big players in HVAC industry in Romania, offering domestic and industrial heating and air conditioning solutions, as well as energy efficient solutions. In Romania they are present since 1998 and operates as the national subsidiary of the Group. THE ROLE To support the Logistic department, in supervising the whole purchasing process from following the placement of the order in the factories until the delivery to the client, we are looking for a professional to fill in the role of Purchasing Specialist. The job holder will report to the Logistic Director and works closely with the sales teams. Communication with the customer and the sales engineer responsible for the customer is essential, to respond fast in case of delays or other issues concerning the equipment ordered. The new hire will have the responsibility to keep un update of the stocks and present periodically the situation to the management. RESPONSIBILITIES Creating new codes and drawing up the logistic files of the products Carrying out contracts with suppliers in optimal conditions (pre-existing contracts) Verification of stocks and stock optimization proposal between the company's warehouses new acquisitions proposal Requesting delivery deadlines to suppliers and transmitting information to those interested Sending purchase orders to internal / external suppliers, tracking orders placed with suppliers operation of commands and data in the internal program Preparation of import / export documents Issuing and sending weekly reports (stocks, DOI, forecasts, OTIF, simulations) PROFILE The successful candidate will have the following knowledge, experience, skills, and attributes: • +2 years’ previous work experiences in purchasing roles for sectors like heating and water heating, pumps, HVAC • University degree, preferably in marketing, economics, communication and public/ international relations • Very organized, responsible, and attentive to details • Proactive, with initiative and having the ability to work independently and make the right decisions on time • English language fluency • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office package, especially Power Point and Excel To fit the organizational culture, the ideal candidate should be someone with developed communication skills for optimal interaction with colleagues and partners of the company, advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills, proven planning and organizing skills.
