    University degree preferably in IT or equivalent required;
    Minimum 3 years experience in SQL Server Administration;
    Microsoft SQL 2008 Database Administration Certification is an asset;
    Skills Profile:
    Advanced knowledge in T-SQL programming &Administration of Microsoft systems and applications;
    Basic networking knowledge (Windows);
    Strong analytical and communication skills as well as the ability to work efficiently and effectively with co-workers;
    Organized in approach to documentation and quality assurance;
    Efficient and result-oriented;
    Excellent customer service and presentation skills;
    Experience with implementing and understanding technical requirement documents;
    English proficiency.


    The DB Software Analyst will be responsible for the support, installation, configuration, implementation and adaptation of database supporting several CA application such as CA Service Desk Manager, CMDB, Service Catalog and Support Bridge for our customer. The CA Service Desk Manager and related environment is the software that supports the Service Management service Stefanini provides to our clients.

    Key Responsibilities :
    Installation, configuration, patching and administration of database servers SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 from EMEA and US;
    Manage access rights to databases and deploy SQL specific structures on demand from application team;
    Monitor load and system error reports;
    Optimize and constantly monitor database performance trough scripting and monitoring tools available;
    Investigate and solve incidents, respecting the Incident Management process;
    Provide root cause analysis on incident reported against database;
    Escalate and work on problems with the vendor;
    Implement changes according to the Change Management process;
    Coordinate with IT and CA Application teams on launches, migrations, upgrades and technical decisions involving database systems;
    Perform on-call duties, outside normal working hours, as requested;
    Provide functional and technical analysis related to enhancement request submitted for the CA applications;
    Write and maintain up-to-date documentation related to the database according to company policies.
