Safety Engineer

The company comprises 2 divisions specialized on its core capabilities: ENGINEERING and IT. These two divisions are: ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN IT.

• Good knowledge of software & hardware process development;
• Good knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (Waterfall, V&V, etc.);
• Good knowledge of risk assessment and mitigation processes;
• Experience with analysis requirements;
• Basic knowledge of software developing standards (ED-109/DO-278, ISO/IEC 12207, IEC 61508, CMMi and ED-12B/DO-178B);
• Basic knowledge of regarding EUROCAE ED 153 standard;
• Basic knowledge of: FTA (Failure tree analysis), FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), Hazard Risk Analysis, CMA (common mode analysis), etc.;
• Basic knowledge of SWAL (Software Assurance Level);
• Basic knowledge of Safety Assessment (FHA, PSSA, SSA);
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills (internally and in client interaction);
• Technical university degree.

• Analyzing and understanding customer requirements (tender);
• Identifying hazards and ways to eliminate them;
• Identifying and analyzing with the team the requirements or changes that have safety impact;
• Supporting in implementing analyzes (FTA, FMEA, Hazard Risk Analysis, CMA);
• Supporting in Safety Assessment (FHA, PSSA, SSA);
• Supporting in creating specific documentation (FHAR, PSSAR, SSAR).
