Your Mission:
The Chart of accounts Team Leader is in charge to administrate chart of accounts referential of Societe Generale Group and Worldwide entities.
Your Role in a Nutshell:
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:
- Coaching, mentoring, training, and oversight a team of 5 chart of accounting analysts;
- Define skill matrix for the team and monitor skill development; animate/organize cascade meetings: weekly, daily, 121 for team under supervision;
- Performs yearly appraisal exercise member based on the performance;
- Capacity planning according to Chart of Accounts projects roadmap.
- Ensure clients & partners (including auditors) requests are addressed and deliveries are clearly defined;
- Be the first level of escalation for the team and the first point of contact for clients and partners;
- Control production is done by the team, propose action plan and follow up implementation to improve performance or remediate the issues;
- Insure that internal, security and confidentiality rules are respected by the staff;
- Anticipate, monitor and declare any operational risk events occurring;
- Improve and simplify processes across the team and share best practices with collaterals;
- Participate to projects impacting the team and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Qualifying experiences in Accounting or Audit, preferably in financial services/banking;
- IFRS and Banking business knowledge would be a plus;
- Ability to communicate and build good relationships cross functionally/countries;
- Proved leadership qualities;
- Very good French and English skills.
