    Requirements

    • Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or other management-relevant discipline
    • 3-5 years of experience as a manager or team leader in a service delivery and offshore/nearshore/remote development environment
    • Experience in Finance/Accounting is a plus
    • Fluent spoken and written Romanian and English language skills
    • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Power Point and Excel
    • Ability to build and lead high-performing teams
    • Ability to establish effective working relationships in a team environment
    • Passion for coaching and developing professional personnel
    • Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Effective organization and time management skills, with ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
    • Excellent written, verbal, presentation and communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently without day to day oversight
    • Excellent interpersonal skills to work within a virtual organization
    • Ability to handle confidential information
    • Work location is Bucharest

    Responsibilities

    You will work closely with Kalypso’s leadership, and will lead several areas at the European Innovation Center including, but not limited to the following:
    Administration
    • Manage our current relationships with partners/vendors and create additional ones if needed
    • Monitor and ensure service delivery quality from all our partners/vendors
    • Coordinate office management
    • Coordinate and support legal, financial and HR compliance
    • Collaborate with several internal teams on various topics/requests: IT, Finance, Legal, Marketing etc.
    • Keep up to date with changes in the legislation that might impact our business and consequently provide a plan of action
    • Supervise and coordinate event planning
    Recruiting & Staffing
    • Work with firm leadership team to align recruiting plans
    • Deliver recruiting strategy for the EIC to ensure Kalypso attracts and retains highly talented and motivated professionals
    • Develop recruiting plans by employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas
    • Create and follow recruiting budgets
    • Attend local career fairs for recruiting and company brand recognition
    • Develop relationships with local educational institutions
    • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
    • Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position
    • Interview candidates and coordinate the recruiting process
    • Determine candidate compensation, create and extend offer letters, coordinate the hiring process
    • Participate on recurrent calls to determine practice projects and staffing needs
    • Collaborate with the Global Staffing Manager to assign EIC team members to projects
    Employee Relations & Compensation
    • Coordinate the Onboarding/Offboarding process
    • Act as the employee point of contact for HR-related questions (taxes, benefits, payroll etc.)
    • Review and approve payroll and expense reimbursements reports
    • Build local benefits strategy and benefits administration and compliance
    • Execute Annual Compensation Analysis to remain competitive locally (ranges, gender parity, benchmarking)
    People Development & Culture
    • Take the pulse of the team on a regular basis
    • Assess and understand employees’ needs and work on finding optimal solutions
    • Collaborate with Global Talent Manager and Practice Leads to develop Training & Development strategy, including technical, functional, role level, industry training, etc.
    • Ensure the Kalypso culture is firmly established in the new organization

    Our European Innovation Center (EIC) based in Bucharest is focused on delivering technical services and capabilities to our clients across Europe, and you will be managing the Operations for the entire entity.
