Your day to day:

Build and maintain the design specification, data model and documentation and drive Configuration Management processes and tools evolution in line with the advancements in knowledge, technology and data center component catalogue.


With these skills you are a great candidate:

Thorough knowledge of Data Center IT standards, processes and architecture with a focus on infrastructure configuration management
Data Center Infrastructure overview
Structured knowledge and hands-on experience in data analysis, modelling, reporting and presentation
Strong understanding of ITIL
Good understanding of SOX and Security regulations
Detailed understanding of IT Enterprise Technology, Data Analysis, Process Management, Stakeholder Management
High standard readwrite capabilities in English
Experience in a multinational environment

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:
Define and maintain CMDB data model and discovery strategy:
o BMC Atrium Discovery Dependency Mapping (Discovery) usage and documentation
o Creation of detailed design specifications of Configuration Management Database
o Definition and design of the Data Model analysis and definition
o Design Configuration Process and Procedures control
o Testacceptance plan for technical changes that could impact process documents
Assure proper integration with the build and change management processes to guarantee data completeness and accuracy
Analyse CMDB data, identifying gaps, errors or inconsistencies in the loaded information.
Ensure the continual improvement in Configuration Management CIs definition and relationship, data models, discovery and data analysis tools, in close collaboration with Technology Architecture and anticipating the evolution of the data centre standard solutions.
