What you must have:
o Medium Linux (RHEL, SuSE) administration skills;
o At least basic knowledge of Windows Server Operating System: Windows Server 2008/2012/2016;
o Solid understanding of networking concepts;
o Experience writing medium complexity scripts in at least one language: Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby, Batch, PowerShell etc.;
o Experience with Ansible Tower/Ansible Control Machine;
o Good understanding of Containers/Container Orchestration (Docker);
o Basic knowledge of IBM Cloud/AWS/Azure/Oracle Cloud Infrastructure/Google Cloud services;
o General understanding of ITIL/IT Service Management concepts (ITIL Foundations certification preferred) and DevOps;
o Good spoken and written English skills;
o Ability to handle well multiple tasks and prioritize them.
What you will do:
o Ensure the effective automation various aspects of the work, from agents deployment and configuration to scripting basic tasks when needed;
o Support solution redesign and automation efforts with the goal of making the infrastructure programmable and redundant to failures;
o Actively operate and work with ticketing tools (Tasks, Incidents, Service Requests and Change Requests);
o Ensure the configuration and Customer Support Troubleshooting such as deployments on RedHat/Windows/SUSE environments;
o Develop and maintain procedures for installation and configuration;
o Efficiently communicate within the team and with other stakeholders;
o Investigate new technologies, document the discovery sprints and propose new ways forward on how those could be applied into the existing landscape.
