    During these 3 months of internship, working out of our office in Bucharest, you will learn from the best in the industry and work on substantial projects with real world implications, getting hands-on with digital technologies. You’ll get the chance to understand how the electrical grid software works, how we manage to electrify the world and most importantly, how we, as a software company contribute to the Global Decarbonization efforts.

    Potential assignments in our internship program, may include rotations, working within our Grid teams, working on Software Solutions, Services, Support and Engineering. This will give you exposure to working on real international projects, being part of our execution teams and gaining insight as into how we develop, real long-term relationships with customers.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    Basic Qualifications:

    Minimum two years at Politechnica University, at one of these faculties: Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automatic Control & Computer Science, Engineering in Foreign Languages, Electronics, Telecommunications & Information Technology, Applied Sciences (we also welcome those with a fresh Bachelor/Master degree or enrolled in a Master program at one of these faculties);

    Legal authorization to work in Romania is required.

    Eligibility Requirements:
    Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree in the above disciplines;
    Hybrid working in our Bucharest office;
    English – conversational level;
    Must commit to work during the internship, 6 hours/day, 30 hours/week.

    Responsibilities

    Desired Characteristics:

    Good understanding of software programming and/or software integration concepts;
    Awareness of the electrical energy domain;
    Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in software, electrical engineering, power systems or relevant area;
    Nice to have: programming skills in one of the commonly accepted languages (Java, .NET, C/C++, Python a.s.o.);
    Nice to have: SQL database programming skills, beginner level;
    Leadership experience inside and/or outside the classroom;
    A strong commitment to a career in technology and passion/aptitude for both software and electrical engineering;
    Strong analytical and technical skills with experience in software industry standards and development tools;
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate clearly;
    Demonstrated creative problem solving and proactive learning.
