Jr. Mechanical Design Engineer

-Education / degree: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical from a four years accredited college or university;
- Knowledge about API, ASME, ANSI and other Codes and Standards applicable to mechanical equipment would represent a plus
- Knowledge about material handling would represent a plus
- 0 - 2 years of experience in refining and/or petrochemical industries
- Capable to work within multidiscipline design team from concept through to implementation;
- Good oral and written communications;
- English language – intermediate level
- Design software knowledge 2d or 3d is a plus

-Assist in preparation and review of equipment specifications and data sheets;
-Provide Mechanical design and provision of information to the project design team;
-Assist in developing the Material Requisition for Quotation (MRQ) packages;
-Assist in generating Material Requisition for Purchase (MRP) packages, including defining all scope/line items, inspection and documentation requirements, etc.
