QA Software Engineer

What you should have or know:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computing Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical / science / mathematics degree.
Around 2 years of software development or testing experience.
Software testing experience for various type of products.
Previous work experience in interfacing with various hardware devices.
Knowledge of software development methodology and project lifecycle, including requirements developing, analysis, modeling (UML), design and implementation, is considered an asset.
Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
Ability to adapt, and work both independently or as part of a team.
Knowledge of Windows security standards, policies specifications.
ISTQB certifications are a big plus.
What you’ll do for us:
Be part of a dynamic engineering team utilizing principles from AGILE methodology to develop complex GIS based software products used in the defense and security domains.
Create and apply test plans for the newly developed software products and features, as a primary focus. Additionally, you’ll apply performance, stress, and black-box tests.
Learn automation testing, scripts, utilizing C# language to automatize various processes both for the QA team and for manual test-cases.
Use various testing approaches to ensure the quality of developed software products, oriented on Microsoft technologies and infrastructure.
Interact and learn standards and models used in defense and security domain.
