-Min. 8 years previous experience in actuarial activities in the non-life area
-Previous people coordination experience
-Previous experience with actuarial and reporting tools is a plus
-Strong organizational, planning and structuring skills
-Excellent communication skills, problem solving ability, team player, very organized
-Ability to build working relationships in a complex environment, to engage with new stakeholders and conclude new partnerships
-Advanced MS-Office skills
-Fluent in English, must be able to hold presentations and lead meetings in English
-Analytical mindset, problem solving ability and results orientation
-Flexible and able to think outside the box
-Self-starter and driven
-People oriented: Ability to motivate, train and mentor people
-Ability to apply independent judgement and strive for win-win situations.
-Manage the Non-life actuarial team of the Actuarial Support Center (ASC) and the delivery of all its projects on time and at the required quality level
-Initiate and develop new successful collaborations with Allianz entities on different actuarial services, in-line with the ASC strategy
-Regularly review together with the management team the strategy of the Actuarial Support Center
-Active contribution and technical involvement in non-life team projects
-Give directions, train and coordinate the team to become more effective in providing the services to the customer on the following dimensions:
-Managing the task allocation, team performance results, ensuring business continuity during off time of the team
-Assistance offered to team members related to projects topics and associated systems and providing process guidance, coaching and training to the team based on customer’s requirements
-Empowering and keeping the team motivated to deliver results at agreed standards
-Planning the use of human resources and organizing recruitment and placement of required staff. Support on establishing the organizational structures;
-Ensuring that monthly administrative responsibilities for the team members are met (. holiday scheduling, ensuring back-up, time and attendance);
-Driving periodical evaluation process of the subordinate team members and enabling team members to fulfill respective tasks;
-Operational excellence through process improvements, innovation and efficiency, by:
-Acting as an touchpoint support between the team and main stakeholders
-Active involvement in technical aspects of actuarial projects and coordination of projects logistics.
-Developing and implementing new ideas for business growth, process optimization or transfer of new tasks within the team (especially during handover and transition process)
-Ensuring that administrative responsibilities at branch level are respected (billing, budgeting etc.)
-Other management reporting and responsibilities as per the business needs
