    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, we would like you to have proven experience or knowledge of the following technologies and tools:
    • Core Java and server based development
    • Optimization of Java for high performance, caching techniques and JVM garbage collection tuning
    • Database development in SQL Server with SQL
    • Linux and scripting skills

    Responsibilities

    In this role, you will:
    • Be in charge of developing and supporting systems required for strategic business growth in a wide spectrum of languages and technologies
    • Be responsible for technical delivery of projects including meeting development schedules and ensuring the delivered solution meets the technical specifications and design requirements
    • Provide support on key real-time and EOD systems within FTSE-Russell
    • Provide leadership, technical expertise and ownership in ISD technology delivery, with dual reporting into ISD Technology Services manager in Bucharest and Technical Leads based in London
