    Requirements

    Main characteristics, tasks and functions:

    • Good technical knowledge of standard and non-standard company’s products
    • Good knowledge of customers’ technical applications
    • Good knowledge of company’s customer portfolio
    • Commercial, technical and logistics communications with company’s suppliers, including requests for delivery status and additional clarifications
    • Management of all commercial and technical relations with company’s major and minor suppliers of characteristic products, including enquiries (evaluation, registration, archive), purchase orders (arrangement, issue, control, monitor of status, registration, archive), technical drawings (approval, request for changes, registration, archive) in cooperation with technical office, and logistics in cooperation with company’s logistics and import/export operator, both manually and via company’s ERP
    • Control of suppliers’ invoices and packing lists
    • Management of product database (e.g. creation of new articles, update of existing article, update of delivery dates based on supplier’s information, upload of new items arrived from suppliers, registration of discrepancies reported by company’s warehouses staff, start of non-conformity and discrepancy procedure with suppliers, etc.) via company’s ERP, in collaboration with company’s logistics and import/export operators
    • Management of technical drawing database and quality records (e.g. update, archive, etc.) in cooperation with company’s technical office, both manually and via company’s ERP
    • Schedule and continuous monitor/track of item lists to be shipped from suppliers to meet delivery date confirmed to customers and avoid product shortage
    • Cooperation with logistics and import/export operators and customer service to optimize the flow of the products, improve lead time and avoid late deliveries
    • Management of imports from suppliers (sea, air, etc.) via ERP software (customs
    warehouse and non-customs warehouse) in collaboration with company’s logistics and import/export operators and company’s main freight forwarder
    • Technical and commercial correspondence with local mechanical workshops for special machining operations to be carried out on company’s finished products to change some technical features
    • Management of special inbounds and outbounds for returned goods, goods on account for machining, etc.
    • Request of product samples to suppliers for evaluation purposes and related shipping activities
    • Management of transfers of products between company’s warehouses in
    collaboration with company’s logistics and import/export operators
    Ability to ask company’s warehouses staff and quality control staff for product
    controls
    • Ability to digitally record, track and evaluate the required product controls
    • Ability to evaluate and ask company’s warehouses staff and quality control staff for
    product transformation
    • Ability to evaluate status of company’s warehouses to prevent product shortage and allow on-time product replenishment. In this task, he cooperates with company’s pricing operators.

    Responsibilities

    Must possess a high school degree and/or at least one (1) year experience in a
    related field
    • Must be able to travel for business related matters
    • Must be able to manage highly stressful situations
    • Computer skills including the ability to operate spreadsheets, wordprocessing and
    e-mail programs at a highly proficient level
    •Languages: English, Italian
