System Analyst

ALTEN Romania, part of the international ALTEN Group - with a unique position as Leader in IT & Engineering Consulting, provides support for its clients’ development strategies in the fields of innovation, R&D and IT systems since 1996. The company comprises 2 divisions specialized on its core capabilities: ENGINEERING and IT. These two divisions are: ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN IT.

• Strong understanding of data and business process modelling
• Agile/Scrum experience is a plus
• Design interfaces; HTML skills are required
• Database querying and hands-on experience using SQL
• Excellent analytical and mathematical logic skills
• Organized and detail oriented person
• Problem solving skills
• Results oriented and focused on meeting deadlines
• Ability to interpret and/or write system documentation and technical specifications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (English and Romanian)
• Very organized, quality orientation/attention to detail
• University degree in computer science, software major or similar; equivalent experience will be
considered
• 3+ years of experience in software development, preferable in a system or business analyst role.

• Understand long and short term product vision and assist product owner in prioritizing features.
• Interpret and clarify business need, understand the “what” by showing the “how”, in a productive
and iterative cycle, providing technology-based solutions
• Implement solutions by working with a custom BPM tool: design interfaces, flows, configure
business rules and interactions with other systems
• Investigate issues and identify improvements for the systems: have a deeper understanding of the
business flows and ensuring that process flows match the way people actually work, understand
the impact of screen layout on the productivity of the people who use our systems
• Provides training,documentation and technical support about products/solutions developed, and
acts as 3rd line support: develop fixes and procedures for application support teams.
