    Requirements

    SQL/T-SQL skills to interrogate/manipulate/create test data (mandatory)
    Practical experience of formal software testing techniques
    Experience encompassing integration, functional, and user acceptance testing
    Knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP/2003
    Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2000-2008
    Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (particularly Word, Excel & Outlook)
    Good communication skills
    ISTQB Foundation qualified or alternative test qualification

    Responsibilities

    Technical Support: The role will develop, test and implement generic and complex support solutions, troubleshoot test and live issues. The role will escalate developing, testing, installation and live issues to the Support Lead Manager.

    Project Support: The role will provide Client Implementation tasks and terminal set up tasks to project teams which have been pre-arranged between the Portfolio Manager and the Romanian IT Director. The role is responsible for ensuring that the defined lifecycle for external deliverables is adhered to.

    Production Implementation: The role will provide support for installation or live issues to Group IT Application Support.

    Continuous Improvement: The role will champion continuous improvement within the team and demonstrate best practice to Application Support, project teams and Client Management.

    Knowledge Management: The role will maintain effective knowledge management across all aspects of the Technical Support team’s remit.
