System Infrastructure Engineer

• 3 year of experience in network infrastructure deployment, network engineering, firewalling, security and network policy audit/improving
• Awareness and minimum experience with network architectures and design, logical diagrams and detailed designs
• Graduate of a technical faculty in the field of telecommunications, automatics, computer science or electronics/physics
• Create and manage all network documentation like flow matrix, ip plans, architectures, LLD, HLD
• Awareness of virtualization and cloud concepts, techniques and solutions
• Awareness and minimum experience with known network equipment providers like Cisco, Juniper, F5, Alteon
• Minimum knowledge of Secured network architecture (DMZ, logic security, security zones/nests)
• Minimum network concepts: switching, trunking, aggregation, load balancing, routing, firewalls
• Minimum experience with Infrastructure appliances for security, proxy, LB, relays etc at architectural and integration level
• Experience and awareness of Cloud and Virtualized services: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS. Virtualization paradigms from VMware and Open Source
• Desired knowledge in one or more of these areas ( and general knowledge of all):
- Scripting (bash, perl, etc)
- Linux service configuration; experience in network services
- HA tools and methods (RedHatClusterSuite, VCS), data replication, VMWare infra, DB (ORACLE, MySQL)
- Windows Server basic knowledge (AD, connectivity, authentication and integration services)
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies, VMWARE and open source technologies like KVM, XEN or OpenVZ.
- Open-source monitoring tools, especially Nagios and Cacti
• Certifications are a plus: VMware, Linux, Juniper, F5, CISCO
• Enthusiasm in working in cross-cultural environment with teams in different time zones.
• Good English communication and teamwork skills

• Integration, Testing and Acceptance Network infrastructures (physical and virtual)
• Prepare engineering documents, procedures and solutions for deployment
• Troubleshoot, report and resolve issues, if possible, appearing during installation, integration and acceptance phases
• Improve existing scripts/tools/processes or Develop new ones, according to the needs, in order to facilitate the automation/ease of installation, configuration, testing, operation, etc
• Open source tools and solutions
• Network infrastructure management, appliance installation and configuration
• Management of the virtual and physical infrastructure (advanced setup and configuration)
• Participate in on-call activity if needed.
• Provide transversal, cross project support (coaching/mentoring) and expertise for colleagues and collaborators
• Follow-up and coordinate important actions in the designated projects (migrations, interventions, major changes, etc)
