Position Overview

We are seeking 2 Java Developers to join our Randstad Digital team in a challenging project in the automotive field.

The project is in collaboration with one of the world's leading manufacturers of premium cars and motorcycles, which also offers premium financial and mobility services.

In this role, you will be responsible for the development of highly scalable and resilient cloud applications, ensuring that they adhere to the highest security and coding standards.


Requirements

Experience with RESTful services, Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, JSON, Javascript / NodeJS;
Experience with cloud, preferably with Azure;
Core development experience in large scale enterprise, microservice oriented, cloud native serverless applicatons in Java, NodeJS/Javascript, Typescript;
Experience with UI design and Usability concepts;
Ability to design, develop and implement scalable, elastic microservice based platforms;
Experienced in build management tools like Maven, npm, or Gradle;
Day-to-day experience in using the essential tools of a CI/CD pipeline such as git, GitLab, Artifactory, Jenkins, XL Release/deploy;
Knowledge of Security Coding Standards as well as Cloud Security standard;
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field;
Excellent English skills (written and spoken);
Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
Great attention to detail;
Focus on quality of deliverables.


Nice To Have:

Familiarity with Scrum principles and methodology;
Proficiency in using Confluence and Jira for project management and collaboration;
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization technologies;
Practical knowledge of message broker systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Redis;
Proficiency in implementing testing patterns like BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) and TDD (Test-Driven Development);
Competence in utilizing test frameworks, including Junit;
Familiarity with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaaC);
Experience with Splunk;
Experience with Angular.

Develop cloud-native applications using Java, Spring, and Angular, ensuring optimal performance;
Focus on user-centric UI design and usability;
Build and maintain scalable microservices, adapting to changing requirements;
Efficiently manage projects using CI/CD tools and best practices;
Uphold security and coding standards to ensure data integrity and compliance;
Collaborate within Agile teams, utilizing tools like Confluence and Jira for project management;
Maintain high-quality code with a keen eye for detail.
