DevOps Engineer (Azure)

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Randstad Team international team in a challenging project in Bucharest or Sibiu.

In this role you will work with Agile methodology and the main activity will focus on the implementation of a platform for mobile operators and IoT devices. The aim of the project is to transfer eSIM cloud profiles remotely to both consumer devices such as smartphones or laptops, as well as to cars for the duration of their use.

Within this project you will have the opportunity to work with the following technologies: Azure, Azure Kubernetes Service, Linux, Docker, Git, Jenkins, SQL/CQL, VNet Gateway, Python, Terraform, Grafana /Prometheus, Cassandra DB, Maria DB/MySQL, Redis, JVM.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year working as a DevOps Engineer,
Experience working with Azure, Azure Kubernetes Services Azure firewall;
Knowledge and experience working with Git, Jenkins;
Container Management Experience: Docker;
Experience working with Linux, SQL/CQL and VNet/Gateway;
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Excellent English skills (written and spoken),
Good communication skills.
Nice to have:

Experience with scripting in Python;
Experience with Cloud Deployment Tools, preferably Terraform;
Monitoring tools like Grafana/Prometheus;
Knowledge of Database tools: Cassandra DB, Maria DB, Redis.

Responsibilities:

Perform migrations of customers from on-premises software to Azure;
Deploy and integrate platforms for customers before they go life;
Proactively seek improvements of non-functional requirements;
Validate readiness and maturity of new rollouts through development;
Provide technical expertise on the client products and support processes;
As L3, recover platforms during production incidents to meet target SLA.
