Project overview

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer (Touch Sense Tools) to join our Randstad Digital Romania team in an automotive project. In this role you will work with the software ecosystem around embedded devices, with a special focus on Touch Sense Software Tools development. Also, you will be exposed to different software technologies and software development phases.

About the team

The team develops and tests Touch Sense Software Tools, a Visual environment for our client Touch Sense Solution, featuring visualization, configuration, and debug capabilities for the embedded Touch Sense Solution.

It is part of Automotive Processing group and is responsible of development and testing of our client Touch Sense Solution, including the Touch Sense Software Tools. The team is located in Romania, but you will collaborate with other local and global team members, while demonstrating independence in solving problems and agility in switching tasks as per project priorities. Also, you will use Agile methodology for our client products development and implement Continuous Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing and Continuous Deployment practices.

Requirements

At least 4 years of work experience with Embedded C
Work experience with React, NodeJS or Typescript
Proficient with at least one scripting language: JavaScript, Python
Previous experience with one of following programming languages: C++, Java, C#
Proven record of working in complex software projects
Agile/scrum methodology knowledge
Good collaboration skills and working in teams
Experience in working with international multi-site teams, good team player.
Good problem-solving skills.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
University degree in computer science or similar.
