    Goodyear Operations Romania is the Global Business Services Center of Goodyear Dunlop EMEA. The GBS Center in Bucharest started back in July 2011. The core mission of the Center has always been to provide internal customer satisfaction with the shared responsibility of delivery - Driving performance as ONE TEAM.

    Requirements

    Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Diploma holder who is currently pursuing professional qualifications;
    Previous accounting experience in a multinational company/accounting firm;
    2 - 4 years of experience in general and/or financial accounting;
    1-3 years’ experience in Romanian VAT reporting;
    Previous experience with ERP system (SAP preferred);
    Strong communication skills;
    Competency with computer systems: database, spreadsheet, ERP-based financial system (SAP preferred);
    Ability to comprehend and communicate financial information to various audiences;
    Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills;
    Demonstrate high reliability and self-motivation;
    Drive accountability and results;
    Fluent in English, spoken and written;
    Romanian VAT Compliance knowledge and basic understanding of EU VAT principles.

    Responsibilities

    Properly use tools in order to ensure observation of internal policies and procedures
    Perform technical research on various VAT matters
    Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other departments
    Review of VAT related entries posted in SAP
    Data extraction and communication with external provider
    Perform adjustments to SAP data in order to ensure correctness of VAT returns and communicate such adjustments to external provider
    Provide additional support to our external services provider in relation to VAT data required for returns preparation
    Perform monthly reconciliations of VAT accounts
    Keep informed on VAT updates in reporting countries
    Prepare and submit Intrastat declarations for several European GY entities
