    Business Analyst for Financial Reporting

    Your Mission:

    The business analyst is responsible of production continuous improvement, gain in efficiency, in quality of delivery, redesign the processes.

    Your Role in a Nutshell:

    • Be an agent of change inside the team: perform dedicated production tasks and investigate for areas of improvement (process rethinking, redesign) to achieve better quality with time savings (minimum 30% saving for any process)
    • Be investigative, curious, show interest from own initiative on colleagues tasks and implement improvements
    • Be able to act in autonomy, connect and easily communicate with counterparties (only to the extend it is needed)
    • Generate improvements in production and follow in autonomy the action plan in order to achieve the target proposed
    • Translate the needs into business requirements; assess the involvement from other departments (IT, project management,…); write functional specifications and deliver it to IT team
    • Make workload estimation for each development in collaboration with IT team and define planning for implementation;
    • Support end-user during User Acceptance test and validate final implementation in production;
    • Insure follow up post production.
    • The monitoring of operational risk controls, and recording of possible risks in a dedicated tool
    • Helping staff one off issues, following up the action plan from creation to full implementation and issue solving
    • Ensuring that the knowledge is transferred and formalized to production teams before the end of the intervention
    • Participate to resilience by training people in production teams and being trained on risky perimeters

    A little about You:

    • Studies: banking, accounting
    • Experience: more than 5 years relevant experience in financial reporting, audit
    • Good understanding of accounting principles, IFRS knowledge
    • Sound EXCEL knowledge and previous use in practice
    • Previous practical experience in process improvements
    • Ability to easily understand the process flow
